hmm... It's been awhile since I've written. School's going pretty well. Only two in a half weeks left!! I'm so excited! This is the first year where I get 3 weeks of Christmas vacation. Life's going pretty well. I'm training a new horse, flicka. She's really sweet and laid back. I'm in english class right now. We're not really doing anything. We already had our lesson or assaignment. What ever you really want to call it. Here's a paradox for you:
The Gentle Murder Paradox
If you commit murder, you ought to do so gently. Suppose then that you do commit murder. Then you ought to do so gently. Now from you ought to do A it follows that you ought to do anything logically implied by A. (For example, from I ought to help my mother and spend time with my children it follows that I ought to help my mother.) You are murdering gently entials you are committing murder. So, it follows that you ought to commit murder.
Anyone want to take a swing at that? We discussed it in english. Hope ya'll are doing well!! be blessed!

hello. Sorry, i know it's been awhile. Wow. Alot has gone on these past few days. I got to hear from Jenna last night! (Yay!) Hm.. I'm excited about next semester. I hope I get the classes I want. I'm taking Russian. Hm. That will be interesting :) So what's up with all of ya'll? We've had a few earthquakes the past few weeks. I think there have been 4 or 5 total. Not big enough to do any damage. But they were enough to send us rolling. It was funny. Half of the older gernerations freaked out and called the police. Some thought a bomb had gone off...... it was fun :) Public speaking is horrible! ugh.. Oh! I have a good book I highly recommend. It's: When Boy Meets Girl. By Joshua Harris. It's like the sequal or something to I Kissed Dating Goodbye. hm. well, I've got to go. Be blessed!

umba!
La! What a week! I am having a great Labor Day weekend. Sat. was sad yet fun!! Our Senior Pastor died last week and the funeral was Sat. morning. Afterwards Jenna, Katy, and I hung out all day!! I was so blessed! Jenna and I suprised Katy and took her shopping for a dress and shoes for next Saturday's "night on the town". We found this awesome dress that is a slight green but mostly bronze. It's so cool and she looks amazing in it! I mean, she is astounding no matter what, but she was gorgeous. I wish I had my camera when she tried it on so her mom and dad could see it. Her mom was speechless! Her dad had a smile so big! I'm getting excited about next Sat. Hopefully everybody will get to come. School starts back tomorrow. Thankfully I only have math class. Which reminds me..I have homework!! Ah! Oh well. God's been moving again in my life. He's such a wonder. A frustration and wonder. Hmm...I got a spiritual lesson out of Aladin. I LOVE that movie. Jenna and I watched it last Sat. night. I was contemplating it on the way home. The part where Aladin reaches out his hand toward Jasmine and says "do you trust me?". That was really cool. God has been teaching me the importance of trusting Him nomatter what. Whoa! I never realized how much "stuff" was in a Disney movie! I'm not going to go into all of it, however, in Aladin, the god "Allah" is mentioned and praised more than once. Jasmin's father constantly makes mention of him. I know that he is a false god, but it's a Disney movie. Who would've thought? One more, I never realized how imodest some girls in a disney movie could be. Now look, I'm going on and on. If you can't tell, I'm bored. There hasn't been much to do. I want to start another book, but I'm not sure. I don't think my original is going to work out. Sad. I think it was my fault. I really want God to be in the center of all I do. And I want to do His will. I began to leave God out of what I was doing, and pushed Him a side. So I'm praying about my next book. Be blessed ya'll!

Hmm..
..what to say Lord it's You who give me life...
Everyday! It's You I live for! Everyday! I'll follow after you!
Everyday! I'll walk with You my Lord!!
...
Those are some of my favorite lines from that song. (Everyday)
Wow. It's been a good two days. I was reading from Isaiah chp. 45-46 last night.
To sum it up, God was saying there is absolutely NO other God. He was the beginning and the end, the one who gives life and takes away. Who brings peace, but will cause calamity. Those are 2 awesome chapters. I stared classes a week and a half ago. My favorite class is Western Civ. I LOVE it! We just got done talking about Ancient Egypt and are now onto the Hebrews. It is so weird to hear the history of the Hebrews through a secular point of view. I noticed how my teacher completely skipped over Jesus' death on the cross. He only noted it to say that it was just "another rebellion in the eyes of the Romans" Still, this is my favorite class! I actually look forward to this class. God is so cool. I didn't know what to read last night in my quiet time, so God led me to Isaiah chp. 45-46. I'm glad I read it. 'Cause as I said, we just got done with the Egyptians. Our last topic was on the Egyptian gods. How Amon-Re is the "father god" and then there's Isis, goddess of fertility, and so on and so on. God just reminded me that those "gods" are nothing. He is the one and only God. My oh my! I am so excited!!! My best friend, Jenna, and I are finally going to have our "night on the town"! Even though she went to her senior prom, I didn't. I was the wierdo who decided to go to a horse show instead. :) Anyway, I got a beautiful prom dress for my birthday and havn't used it yet. Jenna and I decided to have our own "prom" (but it's called a galla.) We are inviting a group of people. If all come there will be 5 guys 5 girls. We're going to a fancy dinner and were going to have dancing and a "social" at my grandparents basement afterwards. I think some were worried at first with the dancing part, but it's going to be more like "ballroom" dancing than a wild whatever. I'm pretty sure that half the people going don't know how to dance so this will be interesting. (I'm included in the ignorance of dancing.) Wow! there is so much more I could write, but I must go...Be blessed ya'll!!

I am sooo bored! Man, there is nothing to do! I'm trying to decide if I want to watch a movie or not. Sigh, school starts tomorrow. I'm a college freshmen, but I sure don't feel like I'm in college. All my classes are basic, so I feel as if I'm in high school again. Oh well. I'm not going to let it get me down. My pastor gave all of the graduating seniors a challenge. Find 4 freinds in 28 hours. That's kinda hard to do at this community college. Everybody there looks at you as if they hate being there. But I'll definitly try. I'm sorta excited. Now, in the present time, what am I going to do? There is a movie that I don't like. It's a good movie, but I never found interest in it. Until now. For some random reason, I feel like watching it. It's : Robin Hood. But I'm by myself. I'd rather wait until dad gets home. (this is his favorite movie) or something. It's either Robin Hood, Galaxy Quest, or Lord of the Rings. I wanted to watch Pride & Prejudice, but mom's not home. That's an awesome movie, but I don't feel like watching it by mysefl. Hmm...what a delima. Maybe I'll read the book while I wait on dad to come home. I really wish there was a race on. Bleh. I guess this is the lull before the storm. Oh well..

What a week!!!!
Wow, what a week. Okay, first I had my wisdom teeth taken out on Mon. Yes, all 6 of them. The doctor and nurses where awesome though. They did a really good job and were really nice. (sorry if this post sounds wierd, I'm still on pain medicine.) The week went by really fast. I wasn't in much pain, but that's probably because I slept the first 3 days. I watched movie after movie, but fell asleep during every single one. I never got to see the ending of any of them. The last few days haven't been as nice. I'm still in pain and it's been a week. (personally, I think I may have an infection. whoo hoo. ) On Fri. I went back to "work". I'm temporarily working for a friend of mine. It went quite well except I was in pain ( I couldn't take my medicine because I can't drive when I take it) and I found out that the mom of one of my friends past away Thurs. night. My friend, Chris, came home from work to find his mom dead. He's 17. I'm praying for him now, but I know this has got to be hard. I wish there was something I could do. Hopefully he will still be here. All of his family is in New York. Please keep him in your prayers. Okay, I got to see Pirates of the Carrabean last night! Whooo Hooo! Good movie. It was crazy. It stormed sooo bad during the movie. At the begining the lights kept flickering. We got home late. It was still lightning reall really bad. Yet my crazy family and I went out in the middle of the lighting to check out the damage. One of our trees got struck by lightning. A huge brach from that tree fell across our power lines. We were afraid that it would break. We had to move one of the cars because the lines were over our driveway. If it broke it would have blocked us in. Also, one of our trees fell over halfway, and one tree ( a pine tree) got striped of all its needles. However both trees were dead so it was only a matter of time. The storm lasted all night. Well, my brother is off at camp. He left today. So are a few of my best friends. And anoher is at the beach. I won't get to see her for 2 weeks. When she comes back, I leave for the beach. Yay! Well, I gott go. Need to take my wonderful disgusting medicine! Ya'll be blessed!

9-11..wow..
wow. I just got back from New York City. I was there with my choir from church. wow. God is so amazing. There is so much I want to write about that trip, but I don't have time. However I do want to write this. On Friday, our last day, we got to visit ground zero and St. Paul's Church. wow. I wanted to see ground zero, but I was blown away. It was interesting to see where the World Trade Centers stood..and fell. There wasn't much. Just a really really big hole in the ground. There were still great steal beams in the bottom. You could see where there was damage still being repaired. Most of New York is loud. Yet, there seemed to be this reverent silence around ground zero. It was really weird. We prayer walked around it. Praying for the families of lost loved ones, the military in Iraq and elsewhere. We prayed for the goverment, for our leaders. It was a humbling experience. What got to me, though, was when we went to the church. It was right across from ground zero. The big trees surrounding it, kept it from being destroyed by falling debris. In the chruch were memorials left over from 9-11. There were leters from kids to the firemen and policemen who gave up their lives to save others. There were still posters of people missing, letters to people who were still missing (most likely dead) There were pictures and memorials that family members had set up for their lost family members and friends. It was.. I can't explain it. Afterwards, the girls ensamble (which I'm in) sang in front of this bell that had been dedicated to the people of 9-11. It stood in front of the church. We sang Pass Me Not and the Star Spangled Banner. It was hard to sing the last one because it reminded me and others that were around us of how proud we were to be living in this country. Seeing the memorials, seeing people in that church lighting a candle for their loved ones, it..hurt me to see others still grieving. I'm glad we went to war. I'm glad we stood up to the terrorist. They need to know that you don't mess with America. I just found out that the FBI, CIA or whoever, just foiled another terrorist attack set for New York. Apparently, the terrorist wanted to put a bomb in the subway system that ran from New York to New Jersey. The wanted it to explode and somehow flood Manhattan. How scary is that. I was just in New York. My choir, we rode that subway system. We spent most of our time in Manhattan. I thank God that he led the people to stop that attack. Hearing this, makes me more grateful for America. That we have the freedom to pray to reach out to the people there. To practice our faith. Wow, what a week. I have so much more to say, yet not enough time. Check out our web site: www.vglive.com It has all our pictures and stuff from that week on it. Be blessed!

YIKES!! Prayer please!
Hey guys! Please pray for my friend!!! She got kicked in the stomach/ribs by her horse!! She is in the hospital right now. She has fluid in her stomach and they are keeping her over night to watch it. But if all goes well, she gets to go home tomorrow! Please pray that God heals her quickly!! Wow, I love her so much! She's like a real sister to me! Yet, I didn't realize how much she means to me or how deeply my love for her ran, until today. When I got that heart stopping phone call. Pray for her horse too, that she won't totally kill it when she gets better :) (I love you tack! ) Wow, what a day. Well, I better get to packin'! Next time you hear from me, I'll probably be in New York. (Hopefully!)

Here's the link if you want to see where I'm most likely going this fall: www.ywam-mn.org I'm excited. Gonna miss every body though. Wow. I am so bored. There really is nothing to do.. Anybody want a kitten? We have a stray cat around who just had kittens. Yeah, my neighbor is takin' care of em' and finding them homes. I think I'll go write in my story... Be blessed ya'll!

Oooooh...
Wow. The June 3rd Benifit show at Mila was yesterday. It was a ton of fun. I went. I rode Jake. A 3 year old I had been "training" for his owner who's 10. Jake and I did pretty well. It was his first show, and he deserves a round of applause. He did so good! It was a great day. We had 15 horses at this show! With some kids sharing a horse! It took 3 trailers packed with horses! Go to the website it has all the info on how great everyone did! : www.arrowheadhillsranch.com/newspage Julia did an incredible awesome job!! She rode Jake bareback in the ride-a-buck class!! I also rode bareback. I rode splash another 3 year old. It was
his first show too. Splash was doing very well. I didn't enter him into the bareback class because he had never been ridden bareback until now. I forgot at first that I was wearing spurs (Mind you they were not harsh spurs at all) But then I remembered. I am NOT stupid. I knew I was on a young horse, bareback, with spurs. I fell off splash. But it was not because of the spurs. A lady who was there kept on saying it was because I was wearing spurs. That is not true! It was a freak accident. What happend was this: I began cantering Splash and was planning on going behind these 2 horse and riders. When I think 2 more came up and (they didn't do this intentionally, it was accidental) they blocked my path. So I went to turn Splash when he did this sorta jump/sidestep, sideways. I fell off. I knew I was falling so I turned and was able to land softly. So I wasn't hurt. The only thing that hurt and still hurts really badly, is my stinkin' pride. It was sooo embarasing to fall off at a show!!! I got up and got back on Splash, but I just walked him around to show him (and others) that it was okay. (Splash is very jumpy and scares easily)
So, yeah. My pride still stings, but oh well. That's part of learning and the horse business.
Oh yeah, my finger sorta hurts too. When I fell Splash stepped on my hand twice. pray that it's not broken. Thanks! :)

yay!
YAY! I'm now officially done with highschool!! Wow, it's such a relief! My graduation was yesterday. I graduated with 132 other homeschool seniors. It was so cool. The graduation was sorta like a normal highschool graduation, except that my parents got to hand me my diploma. My family came in with air hornes! I think my favorite part was the cookout. My family and friends came. We ended up playing some ramdom form of volleyball. We had a blast!! (by the way, tack, my thumb now has the biggest black bruise on it! :) I never realized how grateful I was for my family and friends. Expecially my parents. God is so good. I am truly blessed with some wonderfull, loving parents :) Also,(Jenna's gonna kill me for tellin' everyone, but..) Jenna and I hung out afterwards until 12: 30 A.M. We went and egged/shaving creamed Cole's car; and we went and toilet papered (sp?)/shaving creamed/chocolate syruped/ syaran (sp?) wrapped Ashely's car. (of course we got permission from her parents first :) What a night!! This morning we had senior recognition at our church. That was cool. Our pastor challenged us to find at least 4 good Christian friends in the first 48 hours of college. He said those friends would help keep us growing toward Christ. That was pretty neat. Well, I gotta get ready for choir. Be blessed ya'll!

Okay, so was told to post. (more like commanded, (I love you tack:) ) Anyway, my life has been crazy. Graduation is next Sat. This weekend is going to be crazy!! I have to work, then I have a piano recital, then I have to work again, and after work I have to go straight to babysit. Last weekend was a blast! I rode T, Tokens Tinkerbell, in a show. We did pretty good. (though the mare did better than me :) We came away with a few ribbons. We entered 2 jumping classes. They were '18 inch cross rails. And then, even though I have NEVER jumped this high, we entered 2 more jumping classes that were 2 feet 6 inches high. Wow. Jumping came so natually to me. It was so crazy! Yet fun. Still tryin' to figure out where God wants me next year. I have a feeling he wants me to do one of YWAM's DTS. The DTS I feel called to is in Minisota (sp?) Wow, what a week!! Be blessed luvs!
Sunday, April 30, 2006
Wow! What a day! Today, we had my brother's b-day party. He's now 15!!! Wow! We are growing up so quick! It's awesome! First, the girls ensamble sang in church today. We sang our accapello(sp?) song: faithfull. I love the lyrics to this song. They are so true! Here they are:
As I look back over my life, I can see how your love has guided me.
Even when I've done wrong, you've never left me alone, but you forgave me.
And you've kept on guiding. This I recall to my mind therefore I have hope.
It is because of your mercy that we are not consumed. Because thy compassion
fails not, it is new every morning! Great is thy faithfulness. Great is thy faithfulness.
I can never repay you Lord for what you've done for me. How you've loosed my shackles
and you've set me free. How you made a way out of no way. Turned my darkness into day.
You've been my joy in the time of sorrow. Hope for my tomorrow. Peace in the time of the
storm. Strength when I'm weak and worn! You've been, Lord you've been so faithfull.
You've been, Lord you've been so faithfull!
How true is that!! Okay, now to my random part of the blog :) As I was waiting for my family to arrive for the party, I ended up watching this really, not lame, but cheesy version of speed. It was called AirSpeed. It was a pretty good movie, but the camera work was bad and the acting was really cheesy. The plot wasn't to bad. (OKAY, SPOILER WARNING: IF YOU DO DECIDE TO WATCH THIS, DON'T READ. I'M COMMENTING ON THE ENDING!) Okay, so the plot is:
This really rich millionare and his wife (okay, so I missed the beginning.) well I"m not sure why they weren't with their daughter, but anyway. They are waiting for thier daughter to arrive at some airport in his private plane. Well, something happens (yeah, I missed this part too.) and a huge whole gets blown into the side of the plane. It's big, but not big enough to wreck the plane.
So anyway. The pilote gets nocked out and so does all the other crew members, plus the co-pilot. the daughter is the only one concious with no injuries. So She puts on the headphones and calls to the tower. So the next hour and half is about this girl, Nicole, trying to fly the plane by herself.
Of course the autopilote had to be engaged and headed for a crash course with the airport. Go figure it can't be turned off. Everything possible goes wrong. They lose connection, all that jazz. In the end, after every rescue and every other attempt is made to save the plane, this girl gets mad. She takes a baseball bat and beats the autopilote to death. (Why she didn't do this in the first place is beyond me!) and the autopilote disengages. In the end, she safely lands the plan and everybody is happy. So it sounds lame, but it was quite interesting. Well, that's my story:)
Be blessed ya'll!

Lalalalalala la LAAAAA Yippeee doodle!!!!!!!!!! I am happy :) Hey random story:
...............Jello!! okay, so I don't really have a random story. I'm just bored, but happy. My Fo Tech teacher is soo cool. Today in class we had ice creame sundays. No joke. We spent the first 30 min of class eating and talking and the last 30min hearing a lecture on Access. We got out an hour early. He is so cool. He said that we've gone 15 weeks without much of a break, so he went easy on us today. I got new tires on my van today. I was so happy. Oh. Hey I have some major major prayer request for you. Here they are:
1. Leslie is having her baby tomorrow. They are inducing labor because she's late. This is her first child.
2. Marie is having major major surgery on Wed. Please keep her in your prayers.
3. Marie, Jessica, Michelle, and Becky with Andy and Christy(the horses) are going to a paint show this weekend. Pray for safety in travel and the show.
Please please pray for these people! They need it!!
